About Us

Shortly after the Refugio del Cielo Chapter, NSDAR, organized in 2014 chapter members began the service work that the national organization is known for. Refugio del Cielo Chapter, NSDAR, supports veteran students that attend the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB) with food and treats and may bring skilled members who offer complementary services. We participate regularly in the Solvang Independence Day parade. Our floats display Betsy Ross and her flag, different military flags, and several of our members. Along the parade route, we distribute American flags.
